Will it hurt my dog's ears?

• The alarm is designed as a short-term emergency deterrent, not something you use continuously. When activated, the sound is projected outward to attract attention and startle a threat. We recommend using it only when you feel unsafe, not as a training tool, and moving a few steps away from your dog when possible.

Is Barkly weather resistant?

• Yes, the Barkly is water resistant.

Are the batteries replaceable?

• Yes, the CR2025 coin style batteries are replaceable.

Does Barkly replace calling emergency services?

• No. Barkly does not replace emergency services. It is intended as a supplemental safety tool. In any situation involving immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

Will the alarm go off by accident?

• The Barkly was designed with a recessed button that requires a press and hold for two seconds to activate, preventing accidental activation. Simply press again to stop the alarm.

Is this a cord leash or a tape leash?

• The Barkly uses a tape leash for better control and durability.

Can I use it for running or jogging, not just dog walks?

• Yes of course! The Barkly is perfect for any solo dog walk, run, or jog.
